Almond butter is a food paste made from almonds.
It may be crunchy or smooth and is generally “stir” (susceptible to oil separation) or “no-stir” (emulsified).
Almond butter may be either raw or roasted, describing the almonds themselves prior to grinding.
It is recommended that almond butter is refrigerated once opened to prevent spoilage and oil separation.
Can guinea pigs eat almond butter?
No, they can’t unfortunately. It is not the kind of food that guinea pigs eat should be eating as it is just too sweet for them to eat.
