Banana skins are the protective covering for the flesh of a banana and are colored yellow.
They have a rubbery texture on the outside and a more fleshy texture on the inside. They are generally edible for humans although they do not taste very good.
Can guinea pigs eat banana skin?
Yes they can eat it as a treat to nibble on, but it is not a food to be fed to them regularly as part of their diet as it is generally too much for them to eat.
But as a nice treat, they may enjoy it as a one off!
