Popular in the USA and Canada, Candy Corn was created in the 1880s by George Renninger of the Philadelphia based company Wunderle Candy Company. It is very popular around Halloween time and has three colours to it, a pointed white tip, an orange centre, and a yellow end. This meakes it look like a corn kernel.
So with its popularity, can guinea pigs eat candy corn?
Unfortunately, they can’t at all. It is just far too sweet for them to eat and they just can’t handle the sugar that it has in it. It just isn’t worth giving it to them at all and is definitely a food to avoid giving to your cavies.
