Molasses is another name for treacle. It is as Wikipedia explains, a viscous by-product of the refining of sugarcane, grapes, or sugar beets into sugar.
It is a key ingredient if many culinary foods around the world and many people have it in their homes.
So if we can eat it, can guinea pigs eat molasses, and if they can how much of it can they eat?

Unfortunately, guinea pigs can’t eat molasses at all. It is just far too sweet for them and will damage their tummies if they eat it.
So it really is a food to steer clear of as far as guinea pigs are concerned.
