We love popcorn in our home, and the kids especially love to eat it. They particularly love sweet popcorn, rather than salted. However, there are many other flavors available that we have tried and enjoyed.
Can guinea pigs eat plain popcorn?
But can guinea pigs have popcorn? We know that they can’t eat sweet or salted popcorn or any kind of flavored popcorn. But what about just plain popcorn with no additives or flavorings?

In particular, its acidic, salt, calcium, sugar, fat, phosphorus, and water content is of most interest as far as guinea pigs are concerned.

As you can see plain popcorn has quite a bit of fat in it.
Because of this, they can eat it, but not too much of it.
It is fine for them to have a few pieces of it, but it really shouldn’t be fed to them regularly because there is no nutritional benefit for them in plain popcorn.
