Known as a cruciferous vegetable, rapini is known for its bitter taste and is very much associated with Southern Italian cuisine.
It has edible leaves, buds and stems that we can eat.

As you can see rapini contains some calcium, and a hint of fat, however it does contain a very good amount of vitamin c.
This means that guinea pigs can eat rapini but only one to two times a week because of its calcium content.
